Restoration
MB Garage has
been servicing cars for over 35 years and we have
come to
realize as these wonderful cars age owners want and need
restoration
work
done. Mercedes owners understand the quality
of the older
models and want to
keep them running great and looking
as they did
when they first came off the production line.
This is my
team's goal. We are
dedicated people who do exceptional
work and are
very proud of our results. And finally, we believe in
driving a car
- that is why it was created !

When
you begin
restoration work always begin with the
mechanical first. If the car doesn't
run right there is no point
in going any further.
MB Garage can assess your car
and complete any
mechanical work prior to the exterior
and interiors being
done.
Once we get it mechanically straight
we move to the other
parts.
Paul at All
Metal and Len at Mr.
Stitch are our partners in the restoration
process - Janet of MBG coordinates all work.
You will receive a
written estimate to start,
and she will keep you informed of any
changes
as
the process moves forward.
Typically the process takes between one and
three months.
Also, we believe very strongly in driving your restored cars.
As a Mercedes owner you understand that they work
much better when
driven regularly.

This
hand-made masterpiece rolled out of the factory
on May 10, 1965, among
the last in the line of 220SEb coupes.
It was painted factory white
(MBZ color 050)
and the interior was clad in black leather (MBZ color
201).
Options
included power steering,
automatic transmission,
outside
left rear mirror and white wall tires.

In
summary, we literally make dreams come true here! Our latest
project
is a 1965 220SEb.
These
luxurious W 111 models were the last of the
hand-built Mercedes.
Only 13 cars
per week rolled off the production
line - true classics!
Lonn Johnston
is the second owner of the car,
and originally came to us with
mechanical problems. Once we got the
car running properly
Lonn was ready
to move forward with the
restoration.
